A Dream

Grisel Marian Cruz

And through the fields the lillies blow;

Gently kissed with a soft white glow;

A plae white moon and starlite sky;

Alone in the fields he and I;

Through tall green grass and willow trees;

A soft wind blows, a gentle breeze;

We watch the river as it flows deep;

While making ripples with our feet;

I make a wish and close my eyes;

To stay here in my paradise;

To hold him close and not let go,

To let him know I love him so;

But as the sunrise fades to red,

I throw the covers from my bed;

Another night - the dream the same -

His precious face without a name.
